We received a call to check a large apartment/town home complex in Huntersville for a Squirrel infestation. While we were there, the manager received two other calls for wildlife issues. One was for a dead animal smell. After a brief inspection it was obvious Starlings had built a nest in a wall void and one had unfortunately died. We attempted to remove the drywall from the inside but could only access part of the area due to it being on the corner of the building. In the picture you can see what our last option was, and that was to removed the top lay of brick to access behind it to remove the dead birds, the live birds, and the nest. Once the problem was solved, we replaced the brick and sealed the area to prevent any further issues.
